... err, I mean, "a friend" found that mentioning bushcraft and outdoor interests was a useful filter. Mr Mears has done us a favour by giving a wholesome, as opposed to scary, image to our activities. It also helps for those of us who have something in common with his body shape. Fire by friction is apparently quite a turn on for would-be bush babes so maybe there is something deep that it touches in the womanly psyche.
Be careful though about the bushcrafter's wardrobe of green clothes and wide brimmed hats, it'll help you stand out in crowds, except at gatherings where you will suddenly merge into the background. Your would-be bushbabe might find it hard to pick you out.
