I've got a mint condition Mountain Range bivi bag in green that I'd like to trade for a trail hawk or Finn bear.
The bivi is as far as I can tell unused, no marks that I can find and even felt factory folded when I removed it from its bag to check it, but, having bought it I'm struggling to see when I'd use it instead of the hammock so hence the trade.
Its in the style of the TN Discovery bivi, side to side zip across the face, its the std size (I think they sold xlong ones to the army) and I fit in it fine at 6'1.
As for the trade, I'd like unmolested versions of the above, used/blunt not a problem.
I'll post some pictures asap :news:

Thanks

Tim

Do you have a link to some info on the bivi. Have a trailhawk I improved, bit havn't used in a while. Paint from head has been stripped, viniger bath, filework, sharpened and helve stained brown.

I tried to find information on the bag/company and even the mighty Google struggled beyond a few old pictures from ebay, although they looked like the longer MOD versions or hooped jobs. Not much help I know
I'll be posting a few pictures tomorrow....

I noticed a small hole in the stuff sac when I bought it but for the life of me I couldn't find any damage on the bivi itself, after a lot of looking I've found a small abrasion to the outer fabric on one of the seams on the edge of the bag. This is the best picture I could get. Otherwise, totally mint.

All sorted on the axe front now, so I'm open to offers on a mid to large size folder :)
Be quick before I pull the pin on one of those massive Schrade 303's and keep in 'just in case'
