I've just recieved a pair of SigTac tactical pants from Sig Arms, these are marketed in the UK by Krav Maga NorthWest.

£39.99 gets you a very tough pair of trousers, lots of pockets and for the canoeist, padded knees!

On a friends advice that they were sized to be 'snug' I ordered the next waist size up and find that this is the perfect fit.

Sand,

Those are really nice pants! They look almost like my OD CF (Canadian Forces) combat trousers.

How thick of cotton are they? Thicker than denim (blue jeans) or more along the lines of army trousers?

98% cotton? They are trying to kill you.

Alright for the urban warriour but not the material for the bush.

Why? Because of the cooling properties of cotton? That can be useful sometimes!

Thiner than jean material however all the seams and joins are very sturdily put together and with the padding, the knee area is thicker than jean material.
