Great site that, well found. I could spend a fortune there, they've got some good books, I've had a hankering to build a canoe for a while but the only book I've seen in it used plywood, and they looked a bit "boxy". I think if funds allow after Christmas (probably more like after Easter!), I'll have a go using the wood strip book.

be careful twelve as the sites german and so are most of the books I think unfortunately but check out some of the unfinished chinese tools they might be a good cheaper option

Good point mate, there's a few on amazon, but I think my big problem will be finding the timber, and a big enough workshop.

No problemmake it a dugout someones bound to have an odd tree laying about someplace lol

I think quite a few members here and over at BB use Dick Biz for supplies.
They also do interesting stuff like rabbit skin glue and bone glues.
