Hi,

I have three ferrets, the boys are called Steve and William. I think naming animals after people is hilarious! Also calling animals after other animals, e.g. I used to have two rats, one called monkey and the other called squirrel owing to their fantastic climbing habits. Failing that, you can always call him 'Ray' :0)

Incidentally, ferrets make the greatest pets and they never cease to make you laugh whenever you feel a little sad!

Hes just fine.

Dad found a plastic tube for him to run though and hes having fun with that.

He likes ping pong balls too. I think our team should sign him up; hes a great dribbler.

I do that too.....I have cats called Jeremy, Jessica and Joey Have been told many times that Jeremy is the stupidest name for a cat ever!

My ferrets love to dig in a bag of compost, tunnel through long grass and they get very excited if you pour water near to them from a height.

I also have (and this sounds cruel but it isn't!) a kind of little tent made of net. The ferret climbs in and you zip the door shut. Then you bounce him up and down in the air. Only one of them likes this, the other one hates it :0).

I sometimes hang a hanging basket inside their shed and they swing around in that too.

Its great fun inventing new things to see if they like it.
