I want to run a pyrography session as part of a bushcraft session for kids. We'll be outdoors, using a fire. In the past I've used metal tent pegs to singe the wood. Anyone got any ideas/tips for creating a range of tools? Eg, different sized nails wired into sticks etc.
Thanks :):campfire:

The nails are a good idea. Heat some up and forge the ends flat with a hammer on an anvil/rock, like a simple chisel.
The corners, tip and sides will make 3 different marks. Forge some others like woodworker's skew chisels.
