6 years ago my missus gave birth to our daughter by C-section. My missus was, at the time, training to be a GP and had spent the past few months in Obs and Gynae so we knew everyone in the theatre (the Obstetrician was also our next door neighbour). Just before the procedure took place I was ushered into the room, we all had a good chat about what was going to happen and everyone took their places. The Obstetrician asked if everyone was ready and I said "Wait! Honey I've changed my mind I've decided I want a puppy instead!"
