Tiny draw knife?

I was sorting through some tools inherited from my Grandad. There is what looks like a tiny draw knife with a 2" blade. There are no wooden handles but the 'shafts' for the handles are vertical. I'll post pics tomorrow.

I've no idea what it is for!

Thanks. I'll try and find it again in the box of junk. There's also a billhook, felling axe and an 8" spoke shave. All three still have a good edge on them.
