Think I'm going mad

Heard a strange noise out the window, so stood up to investigate, and I could swear I've just seen two curlew in the field behind my house.

They do turn up every year, but I dont think I've ever seen/heard them in March.

My wife and I heard them here about two weeks ago so you are not mistaken!

Thats good to hear. I'll be hearing cuckoos in the next couple of weeks at this rate.

They usually turn up on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border in early March..
