thermal blankets

someone was talking about thermal sheeting, it sounded just the sort of stuf I need to wrap up my old (1897) steamboat in the winter. I like to leave it on the water and use it 52 weeks if not frozen in. Frost inside can cause damage though. Are these sheets available as army surplu? Phil.
