3/4" 1" and 2" please mate! I'll happily pay courier prices...I use them in making beehives and frames. At that price they are a bargain!
I've got used to hoots of derision every time I bend over with a sparkle in my eye after some interesting looking glimpse! That Looks Useful... another acronym to add to UFOs, which my work room is studded with... that'll be UnFinished Objects, then
Yesterday I spotted a four foot high, fiberglass, red lion 'rampant'.
Sort of thing you see opposite to the unicorn thingy on a crest on the council offices or court house.
No idea how it got in a skip but it's now in my back garden, ..... even less of an idea what I'll do with it ,... but it seemed such a shame to leave something like that
lol i DID THAT ALSO!I bought 50 of those squeezy LED keyring lights a few years ago because I thought "Ooh, they look useful"
I'm still using the first two
Something rubbery bounced off a lorry that passed me, shot past my face and startled me. Being nosey I went to see what it was. I still don't know what it was 'supposed' to be for, but it's black and rubbery with two holes through it, and it holds garden canes together remarkably effectively
Saw a load of new 6mm polypropylene rope in a skip. Asked if I could take it and they said yes. I think it's a 220m length (or was, I imagine some has been used) but can't complain at the price!
Have no use for it at the moment but can't resist free cordage...
Discarded worn out digger bucket teeth: TLU. Should I forage them or leave them be?
