Another opportunity for a brief overnighter...minimal kit.
Sought out a spot that would be sheltered as the wind swung from warm westerly to nipping northerly through the night.
No rain forecast so no shelter except the bivi.
Love bivi-ing, so simple, so close to the reasons I camp and seek the outside.
Lots of barking from water deer, I suspect I was too close to a deer trail and they were showing their discomfort !!
For supper I made a one pot potato and lentil curry from scratch on the Trangia....what wonderful, simple, fuss free cooking devices they are.

Nice one. I too love my Trangia. I resisted buying one for ages, don't know why but I find myself using it so much.

I’ve made and used lots of different alcohol stoves to almost spite the Trangia! I think it’s because they’re so common place that I tried to avoid it...but there’s several reasons they’re so common place!
