The no-budget froe

Hej you lovely people,

This year we visited our beloved friend Victor in Lapland, a great woodworker and outdoorsguy. He gave me this nice froe he made from an old mower blade. I made a fitting shaft from ash and the eco-friendly maple slant reinforcer.

A very practical tool for splitting wood into boards or shingles or just processing fire wood in the living room without the danger of the axe stucking in the ceiling.

The shaft is easily dismantled for carrying the tool in a smaller pouch.
