Sorry to go off topic kind of and i know its not a knife but the most beautifull thing i ever saw was a young woman that sat next to me on a coach from London to Digbeth=Birmingham back when i was 15 or so.Truly beautifull she was,couldent keep my eyes of her near enough the whole journey,spoke for the last 10 or 20 mins just before the jounrneys end.
The most beautiful blades I have ever seen were in the Japanese Blades exhibition in the British Museum (top floor). Genuine Masamune blades and gorgeous mounts, and others of course... True works of art. All the people with me at the time (I go every time the exhibit does the rounds!!) are not into blades but really appreciate the katana, tanto wakazashi, tachi etc etc. Well worth a visit when they are there.
