Hi All.

My wife and I are going to stay in a cottage in Rosemarkie next week for 5 days. Apart from The beaches, Indian takeaway, pub and dolphins do any of you have any other bushcrafty experience up there?

I'm thinking of good walks, nice woods, archeological sites (Toddy?) and things like that?

Any hints and tips are of course well appreciated.

Regards

Rob

Hi Rob

Have you been down any of the big glens out of Cannich before? (Affric, Strathfarrar, Cannich) only about 45 mins drive, especially now the leaves are turning.

Ben Wyvis has great views of the Moray Firth on a nice day and is a fairly straight forward walk.

Findhorn village and the Findhorn Foundation maybe worth a visit.

How about a visit to the Black Isle Brewery and the Osprey Centre?

Cromety is quite a nice wee place (if you like antiques and tea shops).

Hope this gives you a few ideas. Cheers Ed
