SARS-CoV-2 hasn’t specialised in humans properly yet and since it targets the ACE-2 receptor, which is present in lots of different cells in the body, it can attack lots of different parts of your body. That’s why there’s such a wide range of symtoms as well. I wonder if that’s why you experienced what you did.

Not a clue, they're all kinda flu like symptoms, just very specific, rather than flu/cold that just sort of starts as a sniffle and maybe a sore throat, then next thing you're hit with a whole whack of stuff.

Yeesh, another forum I'm on I was chatting to a guy that was in hospital for a month because of it!! Mental!
I'm glad that we (wife and I) seem to have it relatively mild - feel rough as a badgers backside, but def not hospital bad

I've felt rough for a few days and tested positive, never had it before, OP description matches mine...
Hopefully over it soon, got a Moot to do!

:( sorry to hear that! It's not a pleasant illness and I'm pretty sure it's been mild for me, wishing you a speedy recovery!!

Daily update, my cough is hanging about, it's got that sort of tickly cough annoyance to it... my back ache is more numb today, I've really kept up with the paracetamol...look forward to not taking that for a while...
Not sure if I mentioned it, but my torso front and back almost feels a little bruised.. sort of sensitive to touch, strange sensation, but feeling a lot better, tonight will be 4th day since positive test.

Wife update, her cough is worse than mine. Seems she's got more of a chesty cough :(

Well legally I'm allowed to wonder into the middle of a busy supermarket and cough....seems absurd to me... we've stayed inside until now... and now being right thus moment, lying under a tree on dartmoor... Van is about 5 mins away so easy way home should we start to feel rough.. but for now soaking up the evening vit d (if possible), and loving nature..

Peace at last. Catch you all later.

So we're back working again. Still feeling the after effects, I'm pretty damn shattered and I also have shortness of breath and a mild tickly cough now and again.. it seems to have knocked my fitness. I'm hoping that with general running around that'll soon pass.

Wifey is still feeling pretty grim, but she's definitely much better than before.

We definitely had it "mild" and it was no fun at all. Stay safe all!

We’ve just had covid in our house. Like others I consider what we had as mild, but still no fun. Having passed two negative tests early in the week I went back to a yoga class last night. Teacher has a poorly shoulder so this was an easy class. Pre covid this would have been a breeze to do, not so last night, I was done by 3/4 way through, really hard work. So yep, even when you feel fine in everyday activities it’s still going to hinder your fitness possibly for some time.
Take care everyone and best wishes.
