Thai Army Nylon Sheet Hammock?

I was reading about sleeping kit a traveller uses and he mentions he uses a Thai Army nylon sheet hammock.

Is this different to what a Thai hammock is and can any folks here comment on the advantages of these?

When you sleep on a nylon sheet hammock especially in warm weather do you feel heat more/sweat more?

Funny but I bought one for my son only yesterday. Used to use one till introduced to the HH

Advantages Cheap and light. Reinforce the stiching if you are heavy like me

Any hammock other than a mesh one will be a bit sweaty in humid conditions. Cooler than a HH though. It has two layers unlike a HH so less chance of mosquito bites from below.

you right monk, nylon is very heat up sheet, especially in the warm weather..........but i heard about it that people use it as a sleeping kit in travelling...........
i think nylon sheet is the best in the cool weather many people use it as a tent.
