Terra nova

Has any body got a Terra nova Laser photon 1 tent ? if so how do they rate it ?
I am looking to buy one for backpacking

if you can afford the hilleburg akto it is much more robust but virtually the same design.

Sorry mate can't help with that one, I have their solo which I rate highly, great bit of kit. Have you done a google search? I find a lot of valuable info via forum posts on other sites that way.

It might be more robust but its more than twice the weight ! I am trying to make up a light weight pack ,but cheers anyway

I've heard good reports about the Vaude Power Lizard and the Henry Shires Scarp 1, all of a similar design. The HS is supposed to be built like a tank apparently.

Henry shires scarp 1 never heard of that ! Have to have a look at that !

Rich is right Jason, ive read some good things about the HS, a lot of the guys doing the appalachian trail use it and have done reviews on the AT forum. i think the guys at backpacking light do the vaude power lizard as well.
