I have just spent the weekend clearing out the garage and have become reaquainted with my long missing golok.
It is a 1993 british army issue golok, it feels good in the hand and holds a reasonable edge, this is soon to be improved
. It is in a DPM bayonet frog, I might make or commission a leather sheath.
I am interested in some of the historical/tribal background as well as the blade itself, was 1993 a good year etc.
