Wednesdays tour to Dead Mans Cave ran out of daylight to go over to Smearsett Scar trig point and look back at the Celtic Walls so today saw me parking in Feizor again but this time walking through the village and turning right after the shake hole to follow the Bridal path for Hargreaves Barn. Spotting an Erratic I thought Erratics 1 Dry stone wallers 0 at No.1 on the map
which led on to another Erratic on the Limestone pavement at No.2 on the map overlooking Penyghent
I then headed up to the Trig Point on Smearsett Scar for dinner. Trig point coming into view at No.3 on the map
Dinner at the Trig Point Menu :-
Steak and Onions
Crinkle cut chips cooking
Steak and Chips with Nando's Peri Peri Ketchup and a glass of Australian Merlot
Inglebourgh from the Trig point
Penyghent from the Trig point
The Celtic Walls from the Ridge west of the Trig point, then I wasn't photographing into the sun
Zen and the Art of Dry Stone Walling on the way back at No.4
As daylight ran out again on the way back down at No.5
cheers all Danny
