This company make some interesting tarp clips for multiple applications.

Agreed Shewie. At $6.99 their mini Grabbits look ideal. No mention of weight though.

My concern is with wear - chances are you'll be placing them in a similar place each time and I don't know how the lighter tarps will stand up to that.
 
I have quite a few Clingon Tarp Clips, and to be honest, the contact surface looks like multiple sharks teeth!

Inner tube, duct tape, or the protective material of your choice is required unless you very quickly want an ex-tarp!

I have clingons and can't recall the name, but there's four fiddly wee bits to each of the tethers. They work, but they do have to be set just right. Not always as easy as the packet shows, when it's pouring down or blowing wild :sigh:

Those ezgrabbits look a different kettle of fish entirely :approve:
