I have various bits knocking about but a picture would help us all try and match a colour ;)

Thanks Bushcraft buddies!
No way I could get a colour match on my camera chaps, but we are talking light to mid tan, smooth, glossy rather than matt.
Ok, so it will be a 'rustic ' repair but 'make do and mend' I say! and its a fab arm chair ( known as 'Dads chair' by wife and kids, but try telling that to our Lab, Hennie! )
Best, as ever.
Chris.

What you could do, providing it has a leather back, is cut a piece from low down behind the chair then patch that up with a bit of scrap leather. The backs arn't usually seen.
Also is it a tear or a hole ?........ tears can often be sewn.

I've some light tan leather - not glossy but you could polish it I'm sure - I'll dig it out and cut a chunk that seems about the right thickness.

PM me an address & I'll pop it in the post - call it a Xmas present.
Realy kind Rod, I will do that mate, give you a shout when I am back on line after Xmas?
Between the two pieces ( plus a bit of suede ) I think I have a fair shout at a repair!
All the very best sir.
Chris.
