Adi,

You don't HAVE to put the whole bottle on in one go mate! :yikes:

Dave

Course ya do !! :-D Another good one is to make a Bombay Bad Boy pot noodle, eat it and then use the sachet of hot sauce you get as a chaser !! :yikes: Now THATS PAIN lol

MRE stands for `Meals Ready to Eat`.
They are from the millitary where you can eat them cold or hot as they dont require the addition of water.

dont get upset.but i have to laugh at the vegetarian option...here are soldier rations for guys trained to be tough and possibly kill ,and they give them a vegetarian option? why? so that it will save the cows? just dosent seem to figure. anyway that said im sure they are full of protein and delicious.are they worth the dough? really? perhaps i.ll try some .
obviously no offence to any vetarians out there :-D

People work better when given what they like/want. Variety is a good thing ... it's very hard to eat the same thing day in day out for weeks.

I think that the British Army vegetarian rations are odd though ... they contain such vegetarian delights as "baked beans with vegetarian sausages". So, while being vegetarian, they are nearly all "meat-style".

Not everyone who eats the vegetarian option meals is a vegetarian to save the little animals. Some refrain from certain meat for religous reasons... some for healthy living (not wanting all that chemical gak in their bodies)... others have medical/dietary considerations... so with all this, its a good idea to offer a vergetarian subsitute....... kepps everyone happy :-)

Good points ... add to that the fact that meat can make some feel very sluggish too.

Whether you get the meal you want is another matter though!

of course, being military, there are other unofficial explanations as to what MRE stands for, Mainly Rat Excretia was one i found very amusing

cheers, and.
