I want a healthy substitute for sugar

and it must be granulated, and usable in baking like sugar.

natural is preffered.

is there such a thing?

Price isnt too much of a bother, as I wont use much. But the doc has told me to cut down, and I do need sugar for cups of tea and baking.

Yacon is probably the most logical - a complex inulin that tastes sweet that cannot be metabolised. Tends to come in a syrup form but fine in baking or in tea.
