Swedish inspired wooden bowl

Had a go at turning a bowl inspired by some I'd seen on Jarrod StoneDahl's blog http://jarrodstonedahl.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/old-swedish-drinking-bowls-and-making.html

It's not exactly how I wanted it, but it will do for now. I look forward to having another go and when it's dry I think I'll give it a coat of paint.

Thanks for the comments folks. Made another one today out of cherry. Not as pleased with this one as i think it's a bit too tall. Oh well, all good practice
