Swedish canvas pack

I've noticed some fraying where the pack is stitched to the leather upper frame pocket, could i darn this or patch it in someway?

Not much expericence repairng canvas I'm afraid

Nor me. A strengthening patch may be a good idea, but without seeing the damage, good advice would be difficult to give, There are plenty of guys and gals on here that would be able to give you very professional advice if you could take a picture of the damage.

Sounds like a patch will be needed.

I've got one on the way (thanks Steve at g.a.s.),hope to be able to dye the straps a nice saddle tan.

Been using the Swedish pack on days out and think it's excellent.
