Swedish army Rucksack.

I have a brand new unissued Swedish army M39 canvas rucksack in excellent unissued condition.

I bought it and a norwegian rucksack at the same time but the norweigian one fits my back better so this one is offered up for sale.

Aprox 30L main compartment with external frame and leather straps. leather rollmat/sleeping bag straps on base and lashing straps on the sides.
Main compartment has a reasonable side pouch inside ( would prob fit a 58 patt water bottle) and is closed by a cord passed through metal eyelets. main compartment covered by a canvas flap secured with leather straps.

all leather in good condition still soft and supple.

I would like £18 this includes Royal Mail Recorded.

C'mon guys...the man's trying to make a sale. Try adding the postage to your cheap examples - for Military Mart the total is only a few pence short of the £18 being asked here (and that only with economy delivery) and the ebay one is £12 USED not 'brand new unissued'. Any company that sells these products asks more for brand new than previously used.

I'm sure if you wanted to sell something you wouldn't appreciate people quoting other prices!!!

I think this is a fair price based on what I have just said.

I should have been checking my thread but ive been working this w/e.

The pack is in un-used unissued condition it is bulky to post and had a steel frame and is being sent via recorded delivery; so its not particularly cheap to post. Recorded delivery is trackable and insured to give the buyer peace of mind.

whats the sack material mate? looks like a tough old(new) piece! id like acamping bag, would this be suitable?

Its canvas with leather straps and leather re-enforcement patches, and a steel frame.

Its about 30L so maybe ok for a summer bag or overnight camping bag but for any longer you would need a bigger capacity bag.
It has leather retaining straps on thre side that would be ideal for an axe/shovel. Also on the base has straps for roll mat/poncho/waterproof jacket/basha etc.

I think it would be better suited as an everyday bag or a hiking /one night camp bag.

I bought something along the same lines as that, But not as good a few weeks back, at a car boot sale With an aluminium frame, I quite like em.
