After trying it for fit I can honestly say the larger frame is much more comfortable for me.

Hmmm temptation.... I imagine a Czech army bed roll would fit nicely on that frame.

It does. Just tried it and takes an extra wool blanket above.

Thinking more canvas bedroll with blanket inside, Bilmo tarp above. Food and cook kit inside with toys and jacket on top.

Dammit. I didn't want to do this, but..... Order sent! I blame all of you for this .

Mine turned up today. Excellent phone messaging from Military Mart concerning the delivery.
The rucksack was excellent quality, with bonus straps bucked to the frame.
I now have an LK35 strapped to the larger LK70/medic frame, which has an excellent leather waist belt fitted.
