Hi Folks,
Been a while since i last posted anything. Been trying to relocate into the middle of nowhere.
Anyhoo!
I'm looking to upgrade my main waterproof. I have narrowed it down to either the Swazi Tahr or the Stoney Creek long bush coat.
Now i know, before i get yelled at, that the Swazi has always had an amazing reputation. However, since production moved to Asia, i have heard a lot of negatives about them.
At a similar price bracket is the Stoney Creek long bush coat. i know very little about it though.
I, like a lot of us, spend a fair amount of time sat on my backside in damp woodland, therefore i like the mid thigh length.
I do have ridgeline, which is actually very good (and no longer the sweatbox of years gone by), but it is just too short to keep my aging bum dry while i sit and chill.
Anyone out there have any experience or views on either brand (and i am talking about the newer Swazis in Aegis, not the old stalwart with proper pockets)
Cheers
