SWAP. Steel Bar

This is probably more for the bladesmiths out there, if anyone.

If it is suitable, I have a solid steel broken PTO/prop shaft I'd like to swap.

It is 5cm diameter x 95cm long and it is probably made from EN36 steel, (its replacement was EN36).

Due to its weight, approx 12kg, this is suited to a local swap unless you would like to organise or pay postage. I live near South Leeds close to both M1 and M62.

I'd like a light weight Ripstop Nylon poncho in OD or Flecktarn.

Props / PTO's are usually made from tube, are you sure they are solid?

Ahhhh just had a better read .......5 cm diameter is only small, so could be solid, still take some breaking tho!

All the PTO's that I used when I was a groundsman the outer shaft was hollow but the inner shaft was always solid

I am by no means an expert, the only PTO's I have had experience with are Landrover one's.

I'll rename it a drive shaft then . Its off a specialised earthworks machine.
