Swallows

Well, the weather isn't here yet but the swallows are. I've been seeing them all week. Good to know someone still has faith in the British summer!

We had a few House Martins bombing around the yard this morning

Here too. Also saw a pair yesterday in stoke whilst pulling my hair out trying to fix a server, cheered me up no end.

We have swifts, swallows (for ages) and both house and sand martins where I am.

Looking for fairly unsuitable nesting sites in a big building I'm working in.

Been in the Netherlands for weeks

Surprisingly we have had them here for a couple of weeks now as well and there already using the sheds for their nests. Also spotted a pair of yellow hammers the other day which I haven't seen for 2 years.
