I always pack 2 litres for an overnighter, but thought there would be taps.....oh well I don't mind a trek!
Pumpkin carving.......I read this AFTER going to the supermarket lol! bit messy for me, to be done with my niece mostly c:
As for the fire lighting lesson box, very kind offer of you sir but I think we'd struggle to find dry tinders around this time of year, hence my bringing of fat wood c:
Having said that Im pretty much covered for fires in most eventualities as I've become obsessed with "smart tinder"
Basically
Just Twine - catches a spark easily, can bind other tinders and is strong cordage.
Fatwood - Waterproof, and dependant on the amount you take you have tinder, kindling, and enough wood for a cuppa.
storm proof british light boat matches - Because if its chucking it down Im not gonna f*ck around with dried fungus.
I'm also bringing my fishing stove, incase I want a cup of tea and the fire is out and Im the only one up so no need for one (bit nocturnal I talk to the owls)
I've made some high calorie walnut and chocolate shortbread for people as well, and bringing a packet of shortbread as didn't have time to make it.
Ye shall not go hungry with me
I should be there around mid day or just before, depends on when I get the chance to leave, as a reminder because currency displays weirdo n my computer, how much do I owe for 2 nights ?
