Imagine yourself walking into the woods, gathering avaiable materials and making yourself a working crossbow that is powerful enough to hunt with.
You will learn how to make a hunting tool that will help feed you and your family if you ever find yourself in a survival situation.
Even if you never end up in that survival situation It's just cool to be able to make a crossbow!
Neil will show you how the crossbow is a great alternative method for acquiring food and is a valuable alternative to full bows and traps.
Over the day you will learn
We will cover the relevant tools needed in two different situations, walking, where you have fewer tools and basecap where you might have access to more tools.
If you are on the move the tools you have could be limited to a knife, an axe, saw (draw or bow saw).
For a basecamp situation the variety of tools can then expand to drill bits, adze and chisels.
You will need to bring paracord with you – cordage can be made but our focus is helping you make a working crossbow.
If time allows we will also cover slings and stick slings
At the end of the day you should be able to walk into an area, identify the right materials to give you the tools to you survive for the short to medium term.
