Summer !!!

Waht a glorious day . Out in the garden, did a lot, ate out, it was so good to be able to be outside ... first time it's been hot this year . Sowed some veg seed (peas and beans) actually direct into the ground, a first for this year! The garden is starting to look much better, the trees have greened-up a lot in the past 3 days, the birch is looking especially gorgeous with her faintly green, transparent frock. Could use a helluva lot more days like today.

Yes me too ! what an idiot ! Been building a pre fab log cabin for my cousin, but when I stepped out of the shower tonight I was as red as a dogs ??? .But to be honest there wasn't that much sunshine, but I should know better !

cloudy where I am and even rain yesterday. booked time off starting end of work today to go site camping. Just my luck a cold spell is heading south. Think I will buy an electric hook up and heater for the tent!!

Out and about in the woods at the weekend was a joy. It made me realise how long it has been since we had any warm dry weather (March last year by my reckoning) and how much I have missed it.

I got sunburned too !!! and so did the cat's ears (white), creamed her up and she's OK now

-Hurricane/Baseball Season
-Football/Hockey/Hunting Season
-Hunting only Season
-Fishing Season
