Is it a really early one Karl? Whats the number on it? It's a rarity that's for sure as Stu avoids making Woodlore clones. Someone must have the goods on him to convince him to make that.

Some close up pics of the wood and blade condition would be good too mate.

i bought it in mid 2005 their is no number on it. it is stamped with SM within a circle but is to faded for my camra to pick it up like i said its used but not abused sheath has the same stamp on it.

The thread does say:

"That is my own makers mark, even back then I made a few sole authorship knives, they displayed both struck marks, the hand cut PatMitchell one and my own SM in a circle..."

If yours doesn't have both stamped on, it might suggest it's not Stu's...
