Strop leather

I have a small wooden paddle strop faced with leather both sides for sharpening various cutting tools. The leather is 30mm x 290mm, so fairly small.
Anybody out there know where I could pick up some replacement leathers from?

Yeah, look in the woman's section, they have wider/broader belts. or if you can get your hand on a Leather Jacket, old sofa etc... My Local Bernardo's does all it's clothes for 99p, Leather jackets included.

Be careful with selecting the belts... a lot of belts are made from reformed leather and not suitable for making into strops.

I was given another belt by a young lady at work and I said "thats not leather!" and she said "it must be, it has 100% genuine leather printed on it" so I responded "I could write 100% chocolate on it but it doesnt mean it is!"
