"Strike a Lights" from quality files

I picked up a few really good quality files a few weeks back and "set to" making things, in this case; "Strike a Lights"

A good bit of cleaning,grinding and some shaping and this is some of the results;






The quality of the steel is amazing and ideal for the job in hand




The steel polishes up nicely once you get the rust off






And they all produce fantastic amounts of sparks!

Thanks all, I needed to replenish my stocks of charcloth too, so I cooked up a batch in a lyles golden syrup tin:
