Steel Frying Pan with Detachable Handle

At this price you can't go wrong.
Season it properly with a couple of kilos of bacon and then you can fry the eggs to go with it!

I like @crosslandkelly idea of the ring on the handle with stick to extend it.
I've just ordered some stainless d-rings to go on my pan handle.

Just need to find a stick now.....
Oh, and a fire
And some bacon
And eggs
And black pudding
And....
I'll stop now

Not sure whether I’ve said this before.

If you know a real butcher, try and buy a rectangle of pig hide with the fat still attached.

Heat your new pan really hot; I hesitate to suggest “spit bounce”.
Then wipe the pan with the fat side of your pig hide, let the smoke clear and do it again over and over. Then fry an egg. If it sticks then you need more wiping.

I haven’t done this for a very long time. My current kit seems to work fine.

Edited to add:
All my kit is SS and this treatment works fine.

I'm looking for a shallow sided steel frying pan similar to a De Buyer Carbonne plus pancake pan but with either a detachable handle or one you can make a handle for from a branch. I'm looking for one about 8" or 21cm in diameter

I know they're out there as I've seen them but my google fu is weak today so thought to ask here as well for suggestions.

Please only suggest ones available via UK suppliers as I'm not looking to import one as it's not worth the effort or extra cost to do that.
This just came up Steve.
