Stealth Gear Extreme Photographers Trousers

  • Hey Guest, Early bird pricing on the Summer Moot (29th July - 10th August) available until April 6th, we'd love you to come. PLEASE CLICK HERE to early bird price and get more information.
I'm not really much of a gear head or a shopping guru so I'm in need of a little help.

I'm after some new trousers (one or 2 pairs). Predominantly they will be for work (landscaping), but in my free time: Bushy stuff, walking the dog and bimbling in bad weather, canoeing and generally just wearing green!

I like the Fjallraven Foresters of which there is loads of info on here. The Fjallraven Chaps have a useful option of ankle fastners but are too expensive for me.

However (and it's a big however as I'm not really a fan of manmade fabrics) I saw these:
http://www.stealth-gear.com/extreme-photographers-trousers.html or for a cheesy video (fast forward to trousers): http://www.youtube.com/tamarackoutdoors#p/a/f/0/sKmrdKBwfPo

What do you think? Does anyone on here own a pair? (Don't worry I'm not going to ask anyone to lend me a pair for the weekend!)

Thanks all............hc

Yes I have a pair and they are quite good, not fully tested them in the rain yet though.
They do come up on the small side and take a while to get used to the fastening method but once on and a belt tightened they are fine

I've seen the jacket first hand and I have to say I'm not that keen to be honest. It looked like it soaked up the rain rather than shedding it and it took a long while to dry if I remember right. I was close to buying the jacket myself but then decided against it in the end.
