If I recall these use tiny blades that look like the original Stanley blade. the blade holding lock is different, its just a push button, much better than the one shown ( I have both types in larger size)
If these are the right type they are usually for sale in pound land 99p store, family bargins ect. there is a larger version that takes proper blade size, sold in the same places and yes they are good as a utility knife/work use.

as above, cheep shops have them all the time, the spare blades too, at bargain prices....:)
