yes, and i only came across the us canteen in stainless, but i like the wide opening that the British crusader bottle has

44 bottle was alumminium?
To be honest, with the price of sigg bottles and their copies is it worth buying stainless.

For years the 58 was fine until i mixed with nalgene and siggs.

I like to be able to put the bottle in a fire, and i don't like aluminium because it reacts to iodine
