I sat at home this morning not knowing what to do, did not feel much like going out, due to a very late night, lol.

So looked about had few things i could do, but thought what the hell, make a spoon , nice and quite, not to much running about or physical work, lol.

Now as far as the material goes, all I had was a bit of Pine Fat Wood that I had meant to split into pieces ready for the next trip out. now i have it split and some shavings as well.

What do you think of my second spoon......

I put it next to my Crook knife for scale.

Now i ve got the wonderful fresh smell of being iin a pine wood... :)

Yeah thats what I thought, its Fat Wood Stumps from Pine trees that were brought down in the 1987 Hurricane, and it smells wonderful as well......

Wondering what i should use to oil it with now....

That's cool. from what I gather bout woods like that may not be the best for food use due to the resin in it but damn nice looking piece.
