Source of smithys breeze or similar forge coke in East Lancs

Or Manchester, or central Lancs or even West Yorkkshire....I'm fairly desperate to find a coal merchant who sells decent forge coke where I can pick it up rather than pay for shipping. Also I'd rather not get it from a smith or specialist farriers shop as they all eem to sell it for 15 quid a 20kg bag rather than 10 or less from a coal merchants, looking at the rest of the country where the stuff seams to be freely available.ATBTom

Google 'buy smokeless fuel breeze' you'll get a list of coal merchants all over the place some of who are good prices-delivery or collection depends on where they are from you.

call a couple of local smiths and ask where they get it from, they might even be willing to sell you the odd bag.

There is a chap on Ebay selling breeze by the bag or the pallet. Also call around a few coal merchants locally and see what they have.

Mind you, increasingly people are giving up of the poor quality of the coke and just moving over to coal. Certainly that is what I'm doing when I order my next load of fuel! I'm just tired of the amount of dust and clinker that the imported coke has and the reserves of domestic coke are almost out now, so soon that is all you will get
