I have started to put a handle on one of my own 190x37x4,2 mm Storkniv/Leuku blades. The steel is UHB15LM and the grinding is straight Scandi with a secondary bewel and the finish is a polished forge finish. The handle consists of Moose Antler als bolster and butt and stabilized blue Bog Oak (x-cut) in the middle. The main pices Antler and Oak are fitted on the tang. There will be spacers, black fiber-brass-black fiber between the Antler and Oak. In that process the Oak will be shortened some 10-15 mm to get a handle lenght of ca 120 mm on the spine side and 110 mm on the belly side.

Did the final adjustments (except the downsize of the Musk Ox at the butt end, I will reduce the tickness some 3-4 mm).

The handle shape is ready for 400- ?? grit sanding.

That looks outstanding mate. There is something really special about traditional looking knives and not tactical looking blades.
