Some more knives I have done...

My latest knives using 4 1/4" E Jonsson Mora blades.
The Dark one is Beech and Ebony handled, the paler one Oak and Buffalo horn.

The blades I get as realy tacky knivesfrom my local Army Surplus!
The handle is a barrel shaped drilled wood afair with the blade held by a metal ring affair (not rivetted - the ring encircles the tang - dont know the technical term...) ans a silvery ferrule. The sheath is a very nasty plastic tube thing with a button hole hanger...nasty!
The only bit I use is the blade and make all the rest myself - totally self taught (with the help of books and forum members comments) so the fit and finish is a little on the "User" side rather than "works of art"....
The sheaths are double saddle sewn 3.5mm ish wet moulded veg tanned leather.
I make em coz I like making things and sell some through a local outdoorsy shop to fund more making....

I like em just as they are, not that I don't like some of the lovely knives that you see on british blades too but when knives get so pretty that you don't want to use them they begin to loose the plot for me. These are great blades and a nice appropriate treatment.
