Some knives

Some I finished off this week.

N690 and Micarta spear point.

And a friend placed an order for a "Bug Out Knife" and after some discussion we came up with this:

As per his specs:

6mm N690 with acid etch full tang.
OAL = 298mm
Blade = 155mm x 6mm x 42mm
Finger choil for fine work
Natural micarta handle
Glass breaker/lanyard hole

Comments and crit always welcome

I've never been a fan of micarta.... i always find it lacks definition when used with multi colours and i never like that way it looks..... much prefer G10 as its both neater (imo) and tougher...

Good work though :)

Thanks all. Sorry for the delayed response - internet has been down. Blade is 3" long on the folder. Did a special run on BB so all are UK legal.
The bug out knife had to be big enough for chopping and other requirements yet comfortable enough for finer work hence the finger choil. When gripped in that position it completely changes the dynamics of the knife. First time I have done one of these and am quite impressed how that finger choil changes everything.
