Soap flakes

Does anybody know of any supermarkets that still stock soap flakes? I just need to wash a goretex jacket before re-waterproofing it, but I was told by my local Tescos that they've stopped stocking it. I know there is a nikwax washing solution for goretex, but I was looking for the soap flakes to use as a cheaper alternative.

Many thanks in advance.

found mine in either 'home bargain' or 'wilkinsons' stores and bought a few packets. on the subject of waterproofing, there was an article in 'trail' magazine testing reproofers and although a few of the established names were good, others didn't fare that well and in conclusion they said that ordinary conditioners were good but not as long lasting.
So choose expensive proofer once or cheaper conditioner and put it through the machine after every 30 to 40 wears. will look for the article again

Thanks for the replies. I'll give my local Wilkinsons a try or failing that the wingham woolwork site. Thanks again.

If all else fails you could buy a block of soap and shave flakes off it - pure soap can be found in health food shops and such!
I use Nikwax products myself.
