I am looking for an olive green insulated jacket to wear when stationary as either a mid layer or outer layer if dry.

I like the idea of supporting British made kit so am looking at Snugpak, mainly their FJ6 which is specific to fishing but probably works fine anywhere else. I have also looked at their SJ3 and SJ6 but I don’t like foldaway hoods as you end up with massive collars and a pointless hood!

Anyone have any experience of the above? Better quality than their Chinese made stuff?

I still use and favour the sleeka/softie. A lot cheaper doesn’t have all the bells and whistles in new fits and styling, just a comfortable coat.
The big plus it’s just as warm
