The other day we decided to visit our local NT property, Gawthorpe Hall.
It was a lovely, cold, snowy morning...
...even the sheep looked cold. (The woods in the background were our destination.)
As you all know, the law clearly states that Dad is fair game when it comes to snow balls!
...but the law also states the right to revenge!
We stopped at the Hall for a hot chocolate, and to make a snow man. This cheeky little chap kept coming up looking for titbits...

On the way home we continued to snow ball fight (obviously I won) and we did a little tracking.
We identified, sheep, dog, cat and this little fellow...
We followed his & other tracks for quite a while, located quite a few burrows and explained about snaring and how they should be positioned to the kids...daughter wasn't too happy about that bit
