Small woollen blanket for cubs badges

Hi

Looking for, or advice on, a smallish woollen blanket suitable for beavers/cubs to be made into a poncho.

Will be sewing badges on, needs to be campfire friendly. Preferably green or grey.

Any ideas?

Don't know what size small is, but I recently got some from this seller on eBay...

They're single bed size, very good condition (possibly NOS), with that unmistakable army surplus aroma. Probably too big for a cub-sized poncho, but could be cut down and hemmed. (And make things from the offcuts - sleeping bag socks, maybe a body warmer, etc.)

I see t recall an eBay store that sold woolen ponchos.......might be worth investigation?
And save on the inevitable sewing to make a blanket I to a poncho.

I never had a blanket badge.....very disappointing

I didn't know that there was a beaver/cub reversible option available. But when a "campfire" blanket says keep away from naked flames it doesn't bode well.

My issue with ScoutShops has always been that some items are overpriced, this definately being on of them, they were £14 a year ago, now £17.
